Marion Meadows
A
lifelong friend, Marion Meadows is a premier saxophone artist. Over the years,
he has helped to pioneer and shape the sound of Smooth Jazz; but his
unique sound
reaches far beyond the realm of "Smooth." He is an excellent composer and producer
and it's always a pleasure to share the studio or the stage with such stellar
talent. To me, Marion represents the future of contemporary music. He is one of
those artist who's CD you can buy even before you've heard it. Never
disappointing, his projects are always on the cutting edge. www.marionmeadows.com
Torcuato Mariano
Torcuato
is a gifted guitar player who was born in Buenos Aires, Argintina and moved to
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at the age of 14. He soon connected with the Brazilian
music scene becoming one of the most demanded musicians in Rio.
His smooth Jazz sound transcended the Brazilian scene, making a global footprint with the release of his first solo CD "Paradise Station", which was the first CD in history to be released simultaneously in Brazil and the USA. Torcuato continues to make a huge impact in Brazilian music with his newest CD "Diario". His talent was a welcome addition to the "Soul of Brazil" CD. www.torcuatomariano.com
Maysa
An
international talent, known around the world as the voice of the group
Incognito, Maysa has a unique sound all her own. As a solo artist you can really
hear her versatility as her sound goes far beyond the constraints of commercial
categories. With the ability to sing classical arias as well as belt out funky
retro, Maysa is primed for longevity. I worked with Maysa
on a recent project, to be released later this year, that challenged her classically trained voice to
unbelievable heights. In the end, it was Maysa who taught us a lesson in artistry and excellence.
For now, check out her latest solo
project "Out of the Blue" released July 30, 2002. www.maysa.com
