Artist, Producer, Songwriter and Arranger, Jacques Burvick has been the backbone for many successful projects in the fields of Jazz, R&B, Dance and Pop. With a history of Billboard success, Jacques has worked with renowned recording artists, Norman Connors, Jon Lucien, Lonnie Liston Smith, Angela Bofill, Maysa, Jean Carne, Pucho & The Latin Soul Brothers, Kim Waters, Marion Meadows, Rachelle Farrell, Tom Brown, Willie Colon,  the late Phyllis Hyman, Grover Washington Jr., Stanley Turrentine, and others. 

As long-time Musical Director for Grammy nominated artist Norman Connors, Jacques has produced, performed and written material appearing on CAPITOL, MOTOWN, ARISTA, RCA, CBS, BUDDAH, ELECTRA and EMI RECORDS. In addition, his production work on Lonnie Liston Smith’s “Love Goddess” and “Magic Lady” CD’s helped launch EMI distributed STARTRAK RECORDS with top 40 Billboard success.  

A native of New York, NY,  Jacques attended Columbia University prior to becoming an accomplished Jazz pianist and keyboard artist. He has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. 

In 1998, Jacques was commissioned to produce a compilation CD for BET PUBLICATIONS. The highly acclaimed product,  entitled “History of Love”, was included in the February 1998 issues of EMERGE and BET WEEKEND MAGAZINES and distributed nationwide.
